Large parking spaces.
The rooms are comfortable. We had a good sleep even though it’s on the main road.

Exceptionally friendly staff who went out of their way to make your stay comfortable. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and the breakfast really was lovely. The breakfast area was very comfortable and relaxing. The rooms were adequate as you do not spend a lot of time in them. My husband found the bed comfortable but I prefer a firmer mattress. Bathroom was quite spacious, shower was good and there were plenty toiletries for you to use.

Lovely inn with a cute family room we all enjoyed! We also dined here and enjoyed the food. The grounds were very pretty - it was everything we'd hope for, including a full breakfast! Very friendly and helpful staff too!

We stayed at the Three Horseshoes over New Year. It is in a perfect location away from the crowds of Burford, set in beautiful countryside. The pub and rooms had just been refurbished. The rooms were really cozy and the food was excellent. We visited lots of pubs in the area and this was definitely the best. The owner and her stuff were wonderful, welcoming and helpful, we would definitely love to come back.

The decor of the room was superb. It was also nice to have a bathtub, as opposed to just a shower, and we were happy to have facecloths, which didn’t seem to be so common at other hotels in England. Also, there was a miscommunication about our room, however the stuff very kindly reconfigured the room for us after our arrival. Finally, the breakfast was absolutely delicious.

But this is an excellent venue. Probably one of the best I've ever stayed at. Great breakfast on site with 20% off ..... Fantastic.

Burford is a great place to visit. The shops are individual and interesting and it is one of the best places for pubs with open fires in winter. It is a very attractive place with many interesting buildings. A short distance away is a wonderful garden centre.
We ate one night at the Highway Inn where we were staying and the next night at the Lamb. Good meals in both.

Burford is a busy Cotswolds town, with plenty of walks, shops and restaurants. You will be able to see everything in 2 days and sample a variety of the local hospitality. Delving into its history reveal’s amazing stories and happenings.
The Hound Cottage in Burford is an exceptional period cottage, situated only a few steps away from the centre of the village. We had a brief conversation with the hosts prior to our arrival and all our questions were answered. As you would expect with a period cottage the ceilings, especially in the bathroom, are quite low so keep that in mind when booking this beautiful cottage. Burford is a perfect base to explore the Cotswolds with its stunning nature, excellent pubs and restaurants and many sights nearby.
The location for a Cotswolds visit was perfect and quaint. The staff bent over backwards to make our stay absolutely lovely. They freshened the room everyday whether we needed it done or not. Bathroom was very modern. The food was amazing, made to order, and served in the restaurant or take away to your room. Dinner starts at 6, but as we were starving and jetlagged, they served us early! We were the only ones in the restaurant! We would stay there again in a heartbeat!!
The location was perfect. It is very near the High Street (5 min walk), but is located on a quiet street. The back courtyard and garden is really lovely, especially at night. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant the first night and thought it was good (3 out of 4 stars). Breakfast was in the same restaurant and was very good. The restaurant staff was very good. The room had all one would need: robes, hairdryer, clothes iron, tea & coffee service, desk.
We always choose The Lamb Inn for our getaway weekends to Burford. This time however we had a very small room. Tiny bathroom and the room was at eye level to the road so we had to keep the curtains drawn due to passers-by. It was fine to sleep in but not really a room to stay in to relax for the early evening. We chose to read in the Bar before dinner rather than sit in the room. Bed was comfy though
This property was everything we hoped it would be. Quiet, comfortable, relaxing, and a short walk into Burford. Very clean, comfortable, and easy to find. Fire was wonderful, lots of little touches like fresh milk and bread on arrival went above and beyond. Towels were fluffy, bedding perfect. I'm a light sleeper, so really appreciated the black-out curtains and silence at night.
It was a lovely cottage, well furnished and stocked with tea, coffee etc was just minutes from the shops, pubs and restaurants.
The hosts were great even rang to say we could access the property early. We also had use of their lovely private garden.
Burford is a beautiful village with lots to see and do.
The food at the swan ( both dinner and breakfast ) was extremely good . Menu options were very good and presentation and service excellent. Staff at the swan were welcoming and helpful , a credit to the hotel . The swan is a short drive from the delightful village of Burford and is in a quiet location .
The room was quite comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was spacious with a strong shower. Bright room with good windows that really keep the sound out! We drove through Bourton-on-the-Water the day after we arrived and were extremely glad we had chosen to stay in Burford!! Much quieter and quainter.
Anna puts so much thought and care into the property and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The property itself is fantastic, well maintained and very cosy. It's a perfect walking distance to Burford. We especially appreciated all the local knowledge and recommendations Anna shared with us.
Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Just a short walk into Burford and well placed for visiting other Cotswold attractions. The rooms were clean and spacious and the restaurant was fantastic. A large free car park was also a bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful - we will return!
Food was good for Breakfast and Dinner. I had both. The Hotel was central and easy to find. The staff were helpful and dealt with all my requests.
I liked Burford and the surrounding area. I would consider staying again. The Highway Inn was a mid range option
This hotel is modern, but in an old English style. Luxurious. Delicious food. It is impossible to not enjoy it. This hotel is in the centre of a gorgeous town Burford. I enjoyed the hotel as much as area around it. Really, really nice.
The location of the hotel is very near to many attractions of Cotswold, a historical building with some pretty outside sitting areas. The room is clean and its size is good. All the staffs in the hotel are so friendly and helpful.
This is a super apartment in the middle of Burford Village. I loved the off street parking and proximity to shops and restaurants. Lovely decor and the most comfortable bed that I have slept on in ages and I'll definitely be back.
We stayed in the small house which is attached to the hotel and it was great and well equipped. The location is in a good place on the high street. The hotel was quiet and cozy.
