Zanzibar in Pictures
Truth be told, I’ve never been much of a beach girl and will always prefer the mountains, but after 8 gruelling days climbing to the summit of Kilimanjaro we were blessed with 5 relaxing nights on the tropical island of Zanzibar. We stayed in Kendwa, on the northern tip of the island, with little/no wifi it’s the perfect place to relax in a hammock with a fresh coconut in one hand and a bestseller in the other. In the evenings, I witnessed some of the most intense sunsets of my life and was usually found on the beach snapping away from all angles. Thinking about it again, actually that trip may have been my idea of paradise.
